Stephenie MeyerTwilight was the first complete book that Stephenie has ever published. Since the Twilight series is so popular, many have followed it exclusively, leaving aside The Host, and perhaps remaining completely unaware of another one of Stephenie’s works.

Eclipse turned out to be the most fun to write, since the characters were already defined in depth by this time in the storyline. Her initial book deal was for only these first 3, and then extended to a fourth one later on.

In this interview Stephenie talks about the process of writing the final book in the saga, Breaking Dawn.
